Story time! You know how there are all the different circus type activies that you pay $3 and $5 for? Well, there is one that you win prizes for how fast you can pitch a baseball. If you pitched over 65 m.p.h. you won a cute little hard hat featuring particulaur MLB teams. Aryn wanted one so very badly. Her and I went over and oberved a bit. A dad came over with his two kiddos. He was acting all tough and smart. He asks to know what the prizes are. If you pitched 40-60 m.p.h. you recieved a blow-up baseball bat, over 65 m.p.h. you get the sweet hat that I mentioned above. So the dad pays his $3 and pitches. 50 He was discouraged! (we were smirking) He asked the teenage dude if the machines are calibrated.

With a deep, "Uh, sure...", he responds. He forks out another $3, and pitches...... 50 again!

He is all bent out of shape. "Are you kidding me?!?" He walks away talking on his cell on his cell phone. Meanwhile, another guy comes in out out pitching 54. He comes back for a final pitch. First matter of business, he asks the teenage attendant to turn the machine off and back on. (oh my....) He was something else. He winds up, he's up for the pitch... and... he gets... 53. Sad day. No sweet hat. But, you can trade in squeaky bats for a hat, so he ended up leaving with the sweet hat. He proudly wore it home :)

Aryn was itching for her own hat. So she offered to pay the $3 for Josh to pitch. He walked up and pitches.... we all eagerly look up to the display... 71! Whoa!! (unbeknownest to the teeange dude attendant, the screen had cleared from the last customer :) Lucky for us! Aryn won her hat. Josh tried again for Beckah and got 63 m.p.h.
